Scouting for Food is an annual service project organized by Scouts to collect non-perishable food items for local food banks and pantries. This community-wide effort helps fight hunger and demonstrates the Scouts' commitment to helping those in need.
Only held every 4 years, the Scout Rendezvous is an exciting event where Scouts from different packs and troops come together for a weekend of outdoor adventure, skill-building, and friendly competition. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Scouts to learn new skills, make lasting friendships, and experience the camaraderie and excitement of Scouting.
We do several local hiking trips each year. We frequently go to Bakers Mtn. Park and South Mtn. State park.
The Blue and Gold Banquet is a special annual celebration where Cub Scouts, their families, and leaders gather to commemorate the anniversary of Scouting. It's a festive event filled with food, entertainment, and recognition of the achievements made by Scouts throughout the year.
Doing service projects together is one way that Cub Scouts keep their promise “to help other people.” While a Scout should do their best to help other people every day, a group service project is a bigger way to help people. While you’re giving service, you’re learning to work together with others to do something that’s good for your community.
